By 2 pm, the procession was on its way to its ultimate destination.... the Castle Grounds....

After winding a route around the Castle building, Robin Hood, Maid Marion and Jack-in-the-Green appeared on the lawns....

  

 

It was then a case of singing Whitstable's very own May Day song...

 

 

.... and letting the dancing commence.....

 

 

... with all eleven sides in action at various times...
